Tension
Île de Ré, France · The Invisible Life
Signed Limited Edition Fine Art Print - From the Invisible Life collection
The Story
A few nearly invisible threads were enough to hold a spider suspended in open space.
What first caught my attention was not the spider itself, but the delicate structure surrounding it. Against a soft blue background, the finest strands of its web appeared and disappeared with the light, revealing just enough to suggest the intricate network holding everything in place.
I was fascinated by this contrast between fragility and strength. The spider seemed almost weightless, supported by threads so fine that they were barely perceptible. Yet the entire composition depended on their tension.
Through the lens, I tried to preserve that remarkable balance without losing the simplicity of the scene. The open background allowed the smallest details to emerge, turning an ordinary web into something almost abstract.
Tension reflects my fascination with the invisible structures of nature — those delicate connections we rarely notice, yet upon which so much depends.

Printing, Edition & Authenticity
All artworks are professionally produced by WhiteWall, an internationally recognised Fine Art printing laboratory known for its high-quality materials and craftsmanship.
Each presentation uses a carefully selected Fine Art paper:
Epson Fine Art Cotton Smooth Natural for unframed paper prints.
Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta for Dibond-mounted prints, framed or unframed.
Each size is produced in a strictly limited edition of 15 signed and numbered prints, shared across all available finishes. Choosing a different presentation does not create a separate edition.
Each print is signed and numbered by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
Once the edition of 15 for a given size is complete, the work will no longer be available in that size.
In addition, no more than 30 prints of the same photograph will be produced across all sizes and finishes combined.
Once this overall limit is reached, the photograph will be permanently withdrawn from sale in every size and finish.
